I was unable to attend my sisters services due to reasons beyond my control. She and I were the only girls left out of six. We came from a large family. Our parents had 12 children. They worked hard but they loved hard also.I moved from Md in 1974 after marrying my sweetheart in Va at my sister Goldies house. I live in Abingdon Va. When Fay and Alvin were with us they traveled many times this way. A lot of the trips were for revivals. To say these two people were the most loved and trusted would be an understatement. Their will never be another like them. Our loss is Heavens gain. My one regret was not being their, but she knew how much I loved her and I l know she loved me. R.I.P. my dear sweet sister Fay...gone but never forgotten

Our Fayetta--yes, the community "Mamaw". To know her is to love her. I loved that precious, sweet lady. Many memories--she allowed me to be part of the family, whether I was or not--I will always consider myself part of her family. I have spent many a day at her house, using any excuse or none at all just to spend the day hanging out. Now, that was a few years back, but the memories seem not so far away. I will always love her and appreciate the woman of God she was. An inspiration, living testimony of a godly woman, love expressed. I thank God upon every remembrance of her and am so glad that she loved me. She lived a simple life that spoke volumes. I will forever be grateful for the moments, days, and years I was blessed to know Fayetta Williams and especially every moment spent with her--pure gold. As she rests in the arms of our LOVING SAVIOUR and the ONE TRUE GOD, I will look forward to the day that I get to to the same. Till we meet again-- Rest in Peace, dear sweet Fayetta. Love you forever and always, Fay Jones-Gordon

Fayetta was such an inspiration in my life growing up as she was for many, she was such a Beautiful loving and caring Woman, she always had such a loving smile about her, she was forgiving and never judgmental towards people, she loved you no matter what, but that was because she had such a love for the Lord, her light as a Christian always shined bright, thats why I know where she is right now, I can only pray that my light would shine atleast 1/2 of what hers shined. I know that God was very pleased with the way she lived her life as that Godly Christian woman, she will be missed by so many, but never forgotten , I pray that all that new and loved her will hold dear to all the good she shared with us and spread it as she would of if she was still here in good health. I know she loved her family, all of them, but I know now she is resting in the arms of the Lord , maybe even Brother Alvins! Love and Prayers to all the Family, I pray God will fill hearts with comfort and Peace, See ya on the other side Sister Fayetta!

Romans 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. I know that you have made it home, and are by the side of Papal. We have missed you so, and long for the day when nothing and no one will separate us again.
