Fayetta  Williams
FAYETTA WILLIAMS, 83 years of Darlington, MD, died on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 in her home. She was the loving wife for 58 years of the late Reverend Alvin H. Williams who passed away on February 28, 2010.

Born on June 13, 1933 in Norton, VA, she was a daughter of the late Bascom and Alice Elizabeth (Hash) Hensley and had worked for the former Bata Shoe Company. A dedicated pastor’s wife, she just adored children. Fayetta welcomed the littles ones for many years in her daycare home, cherishing the time nurturing each one of them. A lover of her Lord every day of her life, she attended Blessed Hope Baptist Church in Aberdeen. Fayetta will be known for her generous love and will be remembered as “Ma-Maw” to countless children.

Fayetta is survived by two children, Debbie Blackburn, wife of Robert and Mark Williams, husband of Chris; four siblings, Neal Hensley, Randy Hensley, Robbie Hensley, and Beverly Bailey; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Tammy Dunaway.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 5, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA where the funeral will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday. Pastor Herbert Bailey and Reverend Curtis Dunaway will be officiating with interment in Dublin Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, Darlington, MD. Funeral staff will be outside during all services to assist with parking as well as handicap needs. Feel free to call ahead with any concerns.
