My son Jeremiah and I have had the honor of being close friends with John. I watched and enjoyed John and Jeremiah working on the antique cars and have heard many stories of John's incredible inventions and achievements. John loved Jeremiah and their relationship was a wonder to witness - these two far apart generations come together on common ground. I had the honor of taking John to a Veterans Day Honor and Celebration Service in York, PA. Listening to his military service history and firsthand account stories was quite memorable. John stood tall and proud to salute the flag of his country that day. We talked every Memorial Day and every Veterans Day to thank him for his service. John - you will be remembered always. Jeremiah and I love you and miss you.
