John Andrew Owad, Sr. was one of thirteen children born on that farm in Vanderbilt. He is my great uncle, brother to my grandmother, the late Mary Owad Sieradzki and uncle to my father the late Stanley J. Sieradzki, Sr.
He is survived by four children, whose names are as follows: Barbara Hornung of Le Raysville, Linda Davis of Boca Raton, FL, John A. Owad, Jr. of Mt. Wolf, and Connie Weinhold of Lancaster; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
I want to extend my sincerest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be truly missed by many extended family members, neighbors and friends.
I will include him and your families in my daily prayers.
