Life Story for Darlene Elizabeth Barton
DARLENE ELIZABETH BARTON, 71 of Fawn Grove, PA, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 2, 2018 in York Hospital. Married on September 26, 1966, she was the wife of Edwin C. Barton for over 51 years.
Born on January 20, 1947 in Havre de Grace, MD, she was a daughter of the late Charles W. Copp and Irma Virginia (Redinger) Fullerton. A loving mother and homemaker, she was known for her amazing culinary talents creating meals that her family fondly remembers. She loved working with flowers, dogs, crossword puzzles and computer games. As soon as possible in the springtime, she would place the hummingbird feeders outside her home, always hoping to get a chance to watch the red ones. Joining in 2001, she was a member of Fawn Grove Church of the Nazarene in Pylesville, MD.

Sandra Lynn Lloyd and her husband, Robert of Fawn Grove, PA
Pamela Barton of Airville, PA
Adam Barton of Fawn Grove, PA
A brother, Gene Copp of Fawn Grove, PA and sister, Carolyn Mattheus of Aberdeen, MD
Five grandchildren: Ashley Yohe, Amanda Lewis, Tyler Lloyd, Tara Lloyd and Brett Baldwin
A great granddaughter, Brook Yohe
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 1p.m. in Fawn Grove Church of the Nazarene, 5300 Fawn Grove Rd., Pylesville, MD 21132. Co-officiating are her church minister, Pastor Jonathan Batchelder and her son, Pastor Adam Barton. A time of fellowship will be held immediately following the service in the church social hall.
Her family would prefer memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to the Cancer Patient Help Fund, 25 Monument Rd., Suite 194, York, PA 17403.
