Life Story for Dolores M. Kilgore

Dolores M.  Kilgore
DOLORES M. KILGORE, 90 years of Airville, PA, died on Friday, January 26, 2018 in the home of her son. She was the beloved wife of the late John N. Kilgore who died on August 18, 1977.

Born on February 6, 1927 in Lower Chanceford Township, York County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter J. and Anna Mary (Morris) Miller and had worked as a machine operator for the former South Pine Nightwear for 19 years and for York Container Company for 26 years, retiring in 1992. Dolores was a dedicated longtime member of Chanceford Presbyterian Church where she always helped with the annual turkey supper.

She is survived by:
A son, P. Joe Keller and his wife, Sandy of Airville, PA

Three grandchildren-
Joanna Chronister and her husband, Adam
Matthew Keller and his fiancée, Lydia
Katie Little and her husband, Orcen

Four great grandchildren- Blake, Leah and Will Chronister; Ty Little

Three brothers-
Frances “Gene” Miller
Jerome Miller and his wife, Rae
Lawrence Miller and his wife, Janie

A sister, Patricia Erickson

He was preceded in death by her brothers: Cletus Miller, Joseph Miller and David Miller.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 10 to 11 a.m. followed immediately with the funeral service at Chanceford Presbyterian Church, 1784 Woodbine Road, Airville, PA Her pastor, Reverend Beth Appel will officiate with interment in the adjoining church cemetery.
