Obituary for Elwood T. Krick

ELWOOD T. KRICK, 75 of Brogue, formerly of Delta, PA, died on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 in WellSpan York Hospital. Married on December 24, 1986, he had been the beloved husband for over 32 years of Mary Eunice (Neeper) Krick.

Born on May 10, 1944 in York, PA, he was a son of the late Catherine Krick VanHoy who died the month prior to his passing. Elwood had a strong love of agriculture whether it was milking the cows, caring for the calves, planting in the spring, tending the fields or harvesting the crops. A familiar sight at his farm in Delta was Elwood in his old orange hat driving one of his John Deere tractors or pieces of equipment. He was always interested in learning more about farming and attended the Kennard Dale High School Young Farmers program, a member of the York County Farm Bureau and strived to attend Ag Progress Days hosted by Penn State Department of Agriculture each August. He was known to be an avid reader of the Lancaster Farming newspaper. Elwood and Eunice sold the farm in 2015 and moved to their current home in Brogue. He enjoyed traveling and was quite fond of going to Sprint Car Races at local speedways.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by:
