Life Story for Myrtle Marie Foutz
MYRTLE MARIE FOUTZ, 94 of Jarrettsville, MD died on Monday, April 22, 2019 in Hart Heritage Estates, Street, MD. Born on September 1, 1924 in Barrington, IL, she was a daughter of the late Frank Anthony and Elsie (Krause) Kirby.
Devout in her Christian faith, Myrtle had worshipped at Guardian Angel Episcopal Church, St. Ignatius Catholic Parish and most recently at St. Mary Catholic Parish in Pylesville, MD. In her earlier years, she had worked as a secretary for Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD and traveled extensively with her second husband. She was a homemaker at heart, enjoying cooking, baking, attending the Highland Homemaker events and meetings. In addition, she had wonderful times with friends at the Highland Senior Center where she played Bingo, learned the art of creating stained glass and was an active member of the Red Hats Society. Myrtle was a past member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Jarrettsville Manor Memorial VFW Post #8672 where she had been very active during earlier times.
She is survived by loving family members:

Two granddaughters-
Chantel Chenoweth and her fiancé, Dennis Gleason of Jarrettsville, MD
Shirien Kiani of Santa Barbara, CA
Two sisters-in-law: Frances Kirby and Margaret Foutz Era
Step son-in-law, Abe Kiani of Long Beach, CA
She was preceded in death by two husbands-Joseph Cavalier, Joseph Foutz and a brother, Keith Kirby.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, April 28th from 3 to 5 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Parish, 1021 St. Mary’s Road, Pylesville, MD with parish priest, Reverend A. Henry Kunkel, III as celebrant. Interment will be held in the church cemetery.
