Life Story for Charles John Fleckenstein


CHARLES JOHN FLECKENSTEIN, 77 of White Hall, MD passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 under a rising hunter’s moon. Charlie was born on August 19, 1941 to the late Henry A. and Bernadine (Banahan) Fleckenstein, Sr. Charles worked as a tool designer for United Container Machinery Company until his retirement. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, attending steam shows and visiting countless steam railroads as well as working on old tractors and engines. He partook in helping two of his sons build several boats with great enthusiasm. Charlie was a member of the American Legion Post #455 of Stewartstown, PA and Ducks Unlimited.

He will be greatly missed by his five children; Debi Fleckenstein of Richmond, VA, Sandy Nooft and husband, Randy of Fawn Grove, PA, Justin Fleckenstein and wife, Amanda of White Hall, MD, Jeffrey Fleckenstein of White Hall, MD, Jeremy Fleckenstein of Clearwater, FL; 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 5 granddogs. He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry A. Fleckenstein, Jr.

A Celebration of Life event will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. at Delta Peach Bottom Fish and Game Association, 173 Pikes Peak Road, Delta, PA 17314.
