Life Story for Robert Madison Cantler, Jr.

Loving written by his daughters.

Robert Madison Cantler Jr, age 61, passed away on Friday, October 5th due to ongoing health issues in his home in Airville, PA. He formally lived in Shamokin, PA.

Bob was a father, a brother and a son. He was an avid hunter and fisherman; he loved time spent outdoors. He was a jack of all trades, but primarily an expert concrete finisher and sub contracted throughout Southern York as well as Harford County for the last 25 years. In 2013, Bob suffered a debilitating disease and had been battling the results since. He was a strong man with a sense of humor no one could top. He brought joy to everyone he met and always kept a smile on his face. Through it all, he continued to be one of those people you were happy to see coming your way.

Bob is survived by his mother; Florence Jane Adams, three daughters: Bobbie Joann Griffin, Tara Lynn Stadnicki and Hannah Quinn Cantler. Three granddaughters: Teyanie Nicole Holland, Madison Renee Griffin and Madelynn Elizabeth Poort. Two son-in laws: Nathan Poort & Joseph Griffin and numerous half brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Grace Moats and his father, Robert Madison Cantler Sr.

A service will be held at the Lock 12 recreational park 2406 Holtwood Rd, Airville, PA 17302 on October 20th at 1:00p.m. Please gather for the celebration of his life
