Life Story for Eileen May Daughton

Eileen May  Daughton
EILEEN M. DAUGHTON, 73, of Worthington, Ohio, died on Friday, May 18, 2018 in her home, surrounded by family. Born on April 15, 1945 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the eldest child of the late William E. and Eileen M. (Sauter) Klingelhofer and wife of 47 years to the late Charles E. “Ducky” Daughton.

As a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, caregiver and friend, Eileen made family a priority and cherished the opportunity to share a meal or a story. Often side-by-side with Ducky, she was a long-time 4-H volunteer in Harford County and throughout Maryland. Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Daughton had been employed for over 35 years by the former C&P, Bell Atlantic and now titled-Verizon Telephone Companies. Eileen had worshiped at St. Mary Catholic Parish.

She is survived by:
Her son, David R. Daughton and his wife, Jessica R. (Brayton) Daughton of Columbus, Ohio

Her granddaughter, Iris A. Daughton of Columbus, Ohio

Her siblings: Edna M. Erbe, of Windsor Mill, Maryland; Mary K. Stann, of Myersville, Maryland; Rose M. Janicki, of Pikesville, Maryland; William E. Klingelhofer, of Randallstown, Maryland; Margaret M. van Emmerik, of Sedgwick, Maine; and John F. Klingelhofer, of Finksburg, Maryland

Numerous nieces and nephews

Friends and family are invited to celebrate and honor Eileen’s life on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5:30 – 8:00 p.m. at the Deer Creek Overlook at the Harford County 4-H Camp, 6 Cherry Hill Road, Street, MD.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 9th in St. Mary Catholic Parish, 1021 St. Mary’s Road, Pylesville, MD with Reverend A. Henry Kunkel, III as celebrant.

Interment of the cremated remains will be in the adjoining church cemetery.
