MARY FRANCIS MEISE, 61 years of Jarrettsville, MD, died on Monday, February 19, 2018 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was the beloved wife of Michael Charles Meise to whom she shared 41 years of marriage with this past Monday.

Born on April 8, 1956 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Milton Henry and Marie Theresa (Cammarata) Burkindine. Mary was a 1975 graduate of Aberdeen High School and completed the Roberts School of Hair Design in 1977. In addition to owning a hair salon, Mary had a love for the outdoors, especially camping, horseback riding, skiing and gardening. Hosting and entertaining family gatherings, Mary was proud of the farmette she had built over the years. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen and Sarah Burkindine.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Friday in St. Mary Catholic Parish, 1021 St. Mary’s Rd, Pylesville, MD. Interment will be held in Highview Memorial Gardens, Fallston, MD. Funeral staff will be assisting with parking and handicap needs during the services.
