Life Story for Theresa Hazel Zaiko

Theresa Hazel  Zaiko
THERESA HAZEL ZAIKO, 87 years of Kingsville, MD, died on Sunday, January 14, 2018 in York, PA. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Wesley Zaiko who preceded her in death in 2003.

Born on October 2, 1930 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Schnepf) Trau and was a member of Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church. Theresa enjoyed sewing, cooking and was known to create beautiful wedding cakes. Dancing brought her great joy. Her family commented that she was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by:
Three children-
Sharon Lee Mullins (Scott) of Airville, PA
Anthony W. Zaiko, Jr., (Karen) of Bel Air, MD
Pamela Roser of Parkton, MD

Seven grandchildren-
Kimberly Lyndhorst, Christine Hill, Anthony W. Zaiko, III; Brett Mullins, Jessica DiAngelo, Lisa Roser and Stephen Roser

Also survived by many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Trau and Anna Emily Trau.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Harkins Funeral Home, 600 Main Street, Delta, PA. Funeral staff will be outside during all services to assist with parking as well as handicap needs.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, the 20th in Cathedral Gardens, 6480 Elibank Drive, Elkridge, MD. Please gather in the chapel by 11 a.m. Father John Vass, Rector, Holy Trinity Russian Orthodox Church will officiate.
