Life Story for Janie Emma Amberman

JANIE EMMA AMBERMAN, 73 years of Joppa, MD, died on Saturday, January 6, 2018 in her home. Born on August 17, 1944 in Baltimore, MD, she was a daughter of the late Farley and Alphia (Wagoner) Cochran and the beloved wife of the late Charles Allan Amberman.

Mrs. Amberman had worked as a courier for Purolator, Inc., in addition to being a public school bus driver. Her sons commented that she was a wonderful loving mother who was always supportive in all aspects of their lives. Having raised three sons, she was known to speak her mind, be direct, but always the one to lean on in good times and bad. She instilled her “old fashioned” work ethic in her family.

She is survived by:
Two sons-
Brian Kevin Littleton and Charles Allan Amberman, Jr.

Two grandchildren-
Ashley Marie Amberman and Nicholas Littleton

Four siblings-
Ruth Ann Johnson, Rachel Dixon, Shirley Ball and Ray Cochran.

She was preceded in death by her son, Randy Thomas Littleton and five siblings.
