Barbara was a dear, supportive and loving friend to many in the congregation and often visited those who were sick or home-bound. Barbara was an excellent seamstress who made beautiful clothes for her daughters. She sewed her daughter Jenny’s wedding dress and all attendants’ dresses. Barbara also tended large and beautiful gardens, canned fruits and vegetables, and made Amish style quilts with her husband George.
