Our sympathy to your family on the loss of Cheryl. I have such great memories of her growing up. She took a picture of Ed and I and it is one I still cherish today. I pray that all of your memories carry each of you through this difficult time and wraps you in the comfort I know she wishes for you all. May God Bless and keep you all.
The pain is now gone. You left us and are now in the arms of the angels. Your Mom and Dad greeted you with open arms where you will remain forever. Rest In Peace for ever more.
Cheryle we have shared so many times together through the good and the bad. You are now in the greatest place ever (Heaven) and out of pain and no longer suffering. God be with Cheryle's family during this time of loss and surround them with your loving arms. Blessings to you all. Love you girlfriend, Anna
This is a poem that reminds me of Cheryle, I think she had a good dash, I will miss her and enjoyed working with her for the last 15 years. She always knew how to put a smile on my face.
The Dash
by Linda Ellis
I read of a man who stood to speak
At the funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
From the beginning to the end
He noted that first came her date of her birth
And spoke the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
Was the dash between those years
For that dash represents all the time
That she spent alive on earth.
And now only those who loved her
Know what that little line is worth.
For it matters not how much we own;
The cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.
So think about this long and hard.
Are there things you’d like to change?
For you never know how much time is left,
That can still be rearranged.
If we could just slow down enough
To consider what’s true and real
And always try to understand
The way other people feel.
And be less quick to anger,
And show appreciation more
And love the people in our lives
Like we’ve never loved before.
If we treat each other with respect,
And more often wear a smile
Remembering that this special dash
Might only last a little while.
So, when your eulogy is being read
With your life’s actions to rehash
Would you be proud of the things they say
About how you spent your dash?
Your light will never dim in the eyes of those who loved you so much. We will miss you but know that we will one day be reunited! I never met anyone with such strength of character and faith. Rest easy, my friend until we meet again.
From the first day I met her, Cheryle was always genuinely kind! Such a huge spirit in her and she had spunk that was truly admirable. I'll always remember that about her :) May her friends and family find solace in the great memories that we all shared with her.
