HFH Remembering - Burial Options

HFH Remembering Burial Options

 Burial Options

In our HFH Remembering Program, we have presented uncomplicated steps to funeral planning – keeping in mind that personalized services are important as well as remaining within the financial budget that best works for your family.

A funeral represents a time to reflect and celebrate a life in a comforting environment and gives the family time to cherish the final moments with their loved one. In addition, the funeral gives friends an opportunity to express their sympathy and support those grieving. No matter what service option is chosen, each service can be unique and personal.

Service options include The Harkins Remembrance Printing Package - special remembrance printing collection.

The HFH Remembering Planning Guide provides assistance in our four step planning guide:

  1. select service option depending on personal choice
  2. select casket choice from metals or woods
  3. select outer container (vault) with or without cemetery equipment
  4. organize cash advances such as certified copies of the death certificate,

flowers, obituary newspaper notices, clergy honorarium, open/close grave fees, etc.

Select The Vault

Many cemeteries require that a minimum grave liner be used to encase the casket when earth buried. These minimum liners are constructed of concrete and are designed to hold the weight of the earth, maintaining the cemetery property. A sealed vault may also be used. These vaults are also constructed of concrete and are designed to not only protect the gravesite, but are manufactured with inner liners that not only restrict the entrance of graveside elements (water and earth) but increase the strength of the vault.
